Vikings will play Pattana for the first time this season. Coaches Mofok and Chris can welcome back central defender Richard and keeper Michael in the squad. They missed last weeks win against BSL due to other activities and sickness respectively. Both will most likely go straight back into the lineup. New face in the squad is Nick who was included after some good performances at practice.
Hallas will not be available and Martin is still struggling to get rid of his foot injury. Micke is a doubt after missing last practice due to a knock he received during the BSL game. Still unavailable is top striker Claus who is recovering from knee surgery.
Vikings have no players suspended.
In spite of the missing players Vikings will still be favorites to take all three points from this fixture. Patana is currently bottom of the table with only one win so far this season. Coming into this game on a two game-winning streak the Vikings will be looking to close the gap on the top teams. Rumors say the coaches will experiment with a new offensive lineup fielding only 3 defenders. This could make room for another striker in the lineup but only time will tell. Ruj should be a given starter up front but his partner is going to be a selection headache for the coaching team. Tim Tuna could get the nod after starting last game from the bench.
In midfield Chris and Jannik will most likely continue with Martin out injured. Travis could be moved from defense to a winger position but Micke, Mattias and Mofok are also in competition for a starting place.
Defense will probably see Graeme and Richard pairing up again with Stein, Breitner or Travis as the fullbacks.
Based on the league table and the team’s latest results prediction for this game will have to be a solid Vikings win – anything else would not be acceptable!
