Vikings – BC Masters Preview

Vikings – BC Masters Preview

This Saturday it’s finally time for some league action when Vikings will take on the BC Masters. During this 4 weeks break the Vikings had a successful trip to the Viking Cup in Beijing but the latest two league fixtures both got canceled. The Patana game since the opponent could not put out a team and the much awaited promotion clash against I-Play had to be postponed due to heavy rain and thunder storms.

Vikings played BC Masters twice this season already resulting in a draw and a win. To fuel the promotion hopes it will be necessary to secure all three points from this fixture but a tough game can be expected against a much improved BC Masters side.

The coaches have no new injuries or suspensions to worry about but long term casualties Michael and Richard are still left out of the squad. Joel, Tim and Christian L are not available.

Rumors suggest that Andy will take on the available keeper position. With Michael injured and the incredible stand in keeper Niclas going back to Sweden the choices are limited. Otherwise there will be some selection headache regarding the striker positions as Chris, Mofok, Ruj and Udom are all fit for fight.

The squad: Andy, Breitner, Graeme, Stein, Travis, Hallas, Jannik, Martin V, Christian H, Chris, Mofok, Udom and Ruj.

The game will take place at Patana International School on Saturday 14:30. And lets all pray for sunny weather and no rain!
